Imagine standing on an asteroid somewhere in a remote corner of the universe, looking down at, what is perhaps, your homeworld...

I for one wouldn't mind that at all!

COMPOSITION: A combination of render and digital painting. Entirely composed in PS. The asteroids and part of the ring system are rendered in Lightwave (using particles and hypervoxels). The big asteroid in the foreground is a Terragen 2 render. The remainder is digitally painted.

ORIGINAL SIZE: ~20x7 in, 148 layers.
