We rewatched Firefly recently (or some episodes at least), so... what can I say? Couldn't help myself. :shrug:

The Firefly-class vessel Serenity landing somewhere on a border world.

Based on Joss Whedon's universe and TV show Firefly and motion picture Serenity.

Well, I have not seen the show, so, I am just critiquing off the picture itself.

Lighting- Good overall. The planets and ship, all the objects, the light source comes from the same direction. The shadow under the ship is good too.
I do have mixed feelings about how the picture as a whole comes together. Artistically its not too bad, but, the planet surface is very obviously in daylight, which then very sharpy goes up into the black of space. Somehow it doesnt seem as real that way? It may be better if the planet were darker?
But, that is just me trying to be picky.

Effects are good, both the dust being whipped up under the ship, as well as the thrusters-I like how you did those.

I suppose, looking at it some more, it is the horizon that is bugging me, and throwing off the image. The horizon still keeps fading out with the hills continuing on in the distance, but, it is going "up" in a way. So, the large planet seems too close to the faded mountain tops.
