Decoding Daily Deviations: Love and war
Decoding Daily Deviations is the series that aims to unlock the secrets of what it took to create these magnificent artworks and motivate others to work towards similar recognition. Each week we will present an interview with one artist who has recently received a DD and have them share the details on that specific piece, relating to their creative process, techniques, and narrative inspirations. If you've ever wanted to know more about a beloved artwork and the talented skills applied to it, this is the series to keep track of!"

Gigantic Black Hole Found in Cosmic Backwater
By Sarah Lewin, Staff Writer | April 6, 2016 01:03pm ET
The immense black hole at the center of the galaxy NGC 1600 appears to be 17 billion times the mass of the sun. This computer-simulated view shows a supermassive black hole at a galaxy's core. Credit: NASA, ESA, and D. Coe, J. Anderson, and R. van der Marel (Space Telescope Science Institute)
One of the biggest black holes ever found sits in a cosmic backwater, like a towering skyscraper in a small town.
Astronomers have spotted a supermassive black hole containing 17 billion times the mass of the sun — only slightly smaller than the heftiest known black hole, which weighs in at

That's right, members of ProjectComment (https://www.deviantart.com/projectcomment) and DeviantArt! It is time that all of us get to know a bit more about each other, admins, commenters and artists alike. It is time that we get to know you!
How this works:
We have a set of questions, some suggested by our admins and some suggested by our members. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to answer these questions as a reply here and reply to someone else!
Let's get to know everyone a bit more! :la:

Prints on dA...no longer an option? by TobiasRoetsch, journal
Prints on dA...no longer an option?
Another point about dA that's more and more frustrating... First of all: since tags have been introduced there is this mysterious "keywords" line when you want to submit your image as print. Back in the old days of kaywords, the keywords of the deviation were the same as for prints (they just got copied)... Now the keywords line is always empty (I even tried to enter some words there once but they disappeared after saving... wtf?). So question at that point: are there any keywords for prints at all? Are the tags used for that? Why is the line always empty?
Second point: my recent upload "Provenance" stays without print. An error is shown and

While Punxsutawney Phil was Predicting the Future
Some of you (if there are people paying attention) may have noticed that I didn't post a Deviation, yesterday, even though I had said my goal was one per day, this week. There's a good reason for this. I, like a certain Groundhog, was looking to the future (and no, I don't mean just writing Sci Fi, although I was doing that, too.)
No, I was contemplating the future, here, on DeviantArt... or, more specifically, MY future, here. I got to thinking about it while I was sorting and organizing all the stories I have sitting on my thumb drive. No, I'm not saying I'm quitting. Don't be a Negative Nancy, OK?
I'm saying I NEED to get things under co
I watched the new Star Wars movie. Was it worth to go to the cinema ? The answer is Yes :)
After 3 shit Star Wars movies, a ton of boring action movies, dumb all the same super hero movies, an incredible shit like Avatar, can we even expect a decent Star Wars movie from someone who directed 2 bad Star Trek movies, something as bad as Super 8 and basically nothing good ?
You won't believe it, but the new Star Wars movie is actually good :) I don't want to spoil too much, but it works :) The visual effects are one of the best I've seen and it doesn't look fake. There are still some action scenes which are not really necessary, but at least it d
