I DO like this drawing a lot! The colors are: SO vibrant! The Luminescent Blue is an exciting touch i think! It reminds me of Particle Physiks! [And some "ion-ic tendency" in that region of Space!] A lovely, genuine and sympathetic drawing from overseer again. Very very professional as we've come to expect. I like the "movement" in the drawing, too! "Real action" has been obtained [ if i am not mistaken ..] SEEMS, like an "actual event" is taking place ...?! [.. A sort of "timeline" is happening ...!] Tremendous techniques; a great great result! Lots of impact and appeal.
Congratulations _ And look forward to seeing more from this [already prolific] artist.
Was directed to this from the WC CIC. Impressive use of lighting effects. If I have a criticism, it's that the two most prominent Banshees look to be rather close together, almost in danger of clashing wings. It could just be the perspective, I know. Still very nice, all the same.
Wow, thanks for the comment and for pointing me to WC CIC's article. And yes, the closeness is the perspective. If I look at the scene setup from top view, there is sufficient distance between the fighters to not collide. Thanks again!
Not saying that they were actually colliding, but that it's rather close even for a patrol formation. But no worries, good to know it's just the perspective.
Feel free to join the community, if you're interested in coming back to the Wing Commander universe.
I will definitely consider it. I haven't really ever left it, and I am definitely planning on replaying all the games once again eventually, especially now that GOG.com has them, too. I fondly remember the day when I got my SoundBlaster 16 so I could listen to the voice into of Wing Commander II! Now I just need to find the time!
You would be most certainly welcome if you choose to drop by. It's a worldwide community, albeit predominantly American - there have been community replays in the past, but there's bound to be some still willing to join you in the fight for the Confederation. No pressure, of course.
Yeah, I remember my dad getting a SB16 for his 386 PC - in fact, my first WC game was included in the pack: Wing Commander II.
