There's No Rest for the Wicked

Thank you very much to everyone who commented on and ed this piece!

This was done for a contest a few months a go entitled, "Something Wicked This Way Comes", and this was pretty much my first idea. At least something along these lines.  What could be more wicked than the Reavers from the Firefly 'verse?

The title is somewhat inspired by a song that is strangely fitting for "Firefly": "Ain't No Rest For The Wicked" by Cage The Elephant. Not the music style I generally listen to, but I kinda like this one.

COMPOSITION: Background was a Shutterstock purchase which I fairly heavily modified. Both ships were lit and rendered in Lightwave. The remaining composition was done in postwork via Photoshop. The Reaver ship's engine smoke is a composition of my own photographs and Photoshop brushes.
