Based on the 4th season STDS9 episode of the same name. Kor, Dax and Worf embark on a quest to find the Sword of Kahless and eventually find it. However, rather than unite the empire, it turns out that its mystical power corrupts Kor's and Worf's honor and view and in the end they decide to beam it into space so that it may be found again in the future. That scene is shown here.

You know that sword is in Dominion space, right? It would probably confuse them if they found a Klingon weapon floating in the middle of nowhere, tens of thousands of light-years from the Klingon Empire.
