Well, to me personally, she certainly was the most graceful. It's a shame that the E was designed with war in mind. I missed the entire focus on exploration in the later years and JJ doesn't seem to change a thing...
I kinda envy you. You have a great journey ahead of you. Although, a fair warning, the early TNG episodes will look a little dated after Voyager. Give DS9 a chance, too! Even Enterprise. They are all worth it. It'll make more sense so if you watch it in sequence. There are some references to TNG in VOY since timeline wise it comes a little earlier-ish.
I would love to watch all Star Trek series. I've seen quite a bit of TNG, I saw the first AND last episode.
I have seen the pilot for Enterprise and 2 other episodes, from what I saw I liked it. I also have seen quite a few of the original series. Though I never have seen any of DS9, but I'll keep an open mind when I do.
Well, let me say this. Watch them in sequence if you can. They build on each other and make far more sense when watched in the correct order. Also, timeline wise, TNG/DS9/VOY overlap. There are some TNG episodes that feature DS9 and vise versa. Also VOY departs from DS9 in the pilot. There is also a VOY episode relating to a TNG episode (all I say is Ferengi and leave it at that). Also, the entire problem with the Maquis that is frequently mentioned in VOY was started in season 7 TNG and then carried on in DS9. To grasp all the connections, watching the shows in sequence makes sense. A little like Stargate.
Thats a stunning piece of work. The lighting on the nacelles looks good, even has the faithfull red afterglow on the saucer section too. The only thing i would change is the angle of the light source, as there is a shadow on the main deflector but overall...amazing.
