A Romulan fleet returning home after - what I'm guessing - was a successful campaign.

You can see Romulus and Remus (or ch'Rihan and ch'Havran in Romulan native tongue) in the background with one of Romulus' moons.

The title means 'Romulan arrival' (I think) in Romulan.

Background: Textured environment (starfield), plus digital painting. My work.

Meshes: Kerchan class by Rick Snider, D'deridex class by Ed Giddings.

Composition: Scene and lighting setup in LW, final composition in PS, including all FX.

Original size: 4000x2000.

Thank you very much! That's a great compliment.

It's all really in the lighting and a bit of post work. Problem is that so many people just slap out one render after the other without really working it over. That's OK when stuff is moving, but a still needs post work.
