Disengage Cloak -- Updated

I had the idea to this one based on the STTNG episode "Tin Man" of the 3rd season in which you see a Romulan Warbird decloak in midflight while overtaking the Enterprise.

Background: Starfield by me.

Meshes: Romulan Warbird by Ed Giddings.

Composition: Scene and lighting setup in LW, final composition in PS. All effects such as glows, blurs, transparency, wave ripples (for decloaking effect), warp streaks etc. all done in PS. Added grain for TV-effect.

Total time approx. 4 hours plus about ~5 minutes render time (times 3 or 4 to find a working lighting setup) with 49 layers in PS.

Update, June 2011:

Thank you to *HandofManos for pointing out an issue with the warp stars flying past the Warbird at a wrong angle. I hope I have now corrected that issue. I've also rotated the angle of the Warbird a few degrees clockwise and have corrected some blending along the way and added the newer, rendered starfield.
