OTHER PARTS OF THIS SERIES:
Oh Shit by overseer  All Good Things . . . by overseer

It shows indeed one of the saddest moments in Star Trek history ("Star Trek: Generations"). The saucer section of the Enterprise-D is about to crash land on Veridian III following the destruction of the stardrive section.

"Oh Shit" has become a very special piece of art for me as it has very much changed the course of my history, too, which means the title is ultimately the right choice.

Therefore, "Destiny" is dedicated to TreeClimber on this, our special day.

MESHES: Galaxy-class by Prologic9.

COMPOSITION: Background was stock (origin unknown), modified in Photoshop. Scene composition, lighting and render in Lightwave. Final composition and FX in Photoshop.

My artworks are not endorsed, sponsored, or affiliated with CBS Studios Inc. or the "Star Trek" franchise. The Star Trek trademarks, logos, and related names are owned by CBS Studios Inc., and are used under "fair use" guidelines.

You know, we never do hear what happened to the saucer after the crash...

Several possibilities here:

1: Lifted off Veridian III and used as a museum piece

2: Salvaged for parts

3: Salvaged as a piece of a new ship

Anyone got other ideas?
